Exotic pets
Exotic pets
This covers a lot of species. In general, Dr. Sisum sees birds, reptiles, small mammals and pocket pets.
Routine physical exams, wing and nail trims are done regularly.
Many exotics are seen for illness and injury. Once they are ill, exotic animals deteriorate quickly. Most of our exotic pets are prey species and hide their illness from everyone, so by the time you notice something, the illness can be rather progressed.
Always monitor your exotic pets daily. If you notice something may be wrong make an appointment quickly.
Exams and consultation, including take home educational material ,is also something we recommend.
If you think we can help you, call for an appointment.
